Los Angeles Rams take on the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium. The Rams are still in the running for the NFC Playoffs and are hoping to add to their win total after dropping their last two games,
but things aren’t looking good. Luckily, the over/under is 43.5 and they are 7-point favorites. The Rams’ receiving group has been plagued by injuries, as its two top receivers have missed the
majority of the 2024 campaign. Puka Nacua missed the previous four weeks due to an aggravation of his PCL sprain
in Week 1. Nacua is not expected to participate today, but there is a chance he will play again in the coming weeks.
Cooper Kupp exited Week 2 with an apparent ankle injury and did not return for the rest of the game. Tests determined that he had suffered a high
ankle sprain, and he would miss “an extended period of time.” Kupp didn’t practice in the last three weeks and missed three consecutive games.
The Rams are coming off a much-needed BYE and hoped to have Kupp return to the starting lineup for today’s game. He participated in the week of practice as a limited participant, and the team listed him as questionable.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Los Angeles Rams don’t expect Cooper Kupp to make his return to the football field on Sunday afternoon. As Schefter points out, Kupp will work out pre-game before the Rams make an official decision on his status.
