Jon Bon Jovi has left fans buzzing with surprise and excitement: after years of recovery from a challenging vocal cord surgery, he’s officially back — and stronger than ever.
At 63, the rock icon is ready to hit the road again. On October 22, 2025, Bon Jovi announced their Forever Tour, set to begin in the summer of 2026. The kickoff will be on July 7 at Madison Square Garden in New York, with additional dates there, followed by stadiums in Edinburgh, Dublin, and London.
This marks the band’s first major tour since Jon went off the grid to rehabilitate after his 2022 surgery. He’s spoken openly about how rigorous the recovery was — likening it to an athlete coming back from a serious injury — but he says the support from fans and bandmates helped him through.
“I wouldn’t tour until I could deliver … two-and-a-half hours, four nights a week, to the standard fans expected,” Jon said. He emphasized his gratitude, adding, “There is a lot of joy in this announcement — joy that we can share these nights together with our amazing fans and joy that the band can be together.”
Amid the celebration, rumors swirled that this could be a farewell tour — but Jon himself has denied it. On a recent podcast, he clarified that while he feels deeply grateful, he’s not planning to hang up his guitar just yet.
To coincide with the tour, Bon Jovi is dropping a special Legendary Edition of their 2024 album Forever. This release features reimagined tracks and guest appearances from major names like Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, and more.
Why This Matters (And Why Fans Are Overjoyed):
A Comeback Story: Jon’s recovery was anything but easy, and this tour signals a triumphant return.
Not Just Nostalgia: The Forever album re-release isn’t just a cash grab — it’s a heartfelt project with real collaborations.
Real Connection: Jon’s comments show he values more than just performing — he wants to create meaningful moments with fans.
