Phase 1 voting closes this Thursday! Here is where the All-Star races stand.

Superstar sluggers Aaron Judge of the Yankees and Bryce Harper of the Phillies top their respective leagues in votes cast on the 2024 MLB All-Star Ballot sponsored by BuildSubmarines.com, with about 7 million votes cast. With 2,375,199 votes, Judge leads all contenders; with 2,037,523, Harper leads the National League. Judge and Harper are guaranteed starting places in their league’s lineup for the July 16 2024 MLB All-Star Game presented by Mastercard at Globe Life Field in Arlington if they are still leading the polls when Phase 1 of the voting ends on Thursday at noon ET. Less than 240,000 votes separate Judge and fellow Bronx Bomber Juan Soto, giving Judge a narrow edge.

Alongside him, Harper has a slim lead over a teammate, with Alec Bohm of the Phillies trailing him by just 77,292 votes. Shohei Ohtani (1,773,404), Mookie Betts (1,680,658), Jurickson Profar (1,646,276), Adley Rutschman (1,638,425), Gunnar Henderson (1,551,124), and Christian Yelich (1,506,639) are the other players who have garnered more than 1.5 million votes thus far. The top vote-getter in each league at the end of Phase 1 will automatically start on their team. After those two players, the top six outfielders and the top two vote-getters at each position will move on to Phase 2 of the voting, which starts on Sunday. The only outfield finalists who go to Phase 2 to decide who starts are the next four if one outfielder leads the league in votes cast.
