Great news! Kelly McCrimmon  confirms Vegas’ interest in signing any of these three top centermen available at the same price range. Which of them would you prefer to see enter the  T-Mobile Arena?

Kelly McCrimmon, General Manager of the Vegas Golden Knights, received one vote for second place in the Jim Gregory GM of the Year award. A trade deadline led by the acquisitions of Anthony Mantha, Noah Hanifin, and Tomas Hertl, along with an offseason of clearing up cap space to keep the players acquired at the previous trade deadline, earned the 63-year-old second place votes. Jim Nill, the Dallas Stars’ general manager, won the award. His recent drafting, combined with the signing of Matt Duchene and the trade for Chris Tanev, propelled the Stars over the Golden Knights and the Colorado Avalanche and into the Western Conference Final.

McCrimmon has never received the honor, despite his outstanding efforts with the Golden Knights. His bold approach to trading for players and finding other methods to grow the prospect pool differs from what has been the norm in the NHL, and it has clearly worked for McCrimmon. With a difficult offseason ahead of him, if McCrimmon makes the right decisions and builds a group that wins the regular season and playoffs, he may be a favorite to win the award for the first time. This season, his most important decisions will be what to do with Chandler Stephenson and Jonathan Marchessault.
