Crystal Palace bid for “Sarr” now termed “Overpriced” as the eagles claimed to have re-strategized, and are now willing to offer a whooping…

Crystal Palace have stepped up their efforts to sign Sarr. The Eagles have had a quiet transfer window thus far, which is perhaps a good thing considering that five of its players will be traveling to Euro 2024 with England. It is stated on page 57 of today’s print issue that Palace would make every effort to sign Sarr this summer.

The 26-year-old has played in England, having played for Watford for a spell and contributing 57 goals. He made 35 appearances for Marseille during the previous season, contributing five goals and six assists. Senegalese legend El Hadji Diouf has referred to the player as “world-class” in the past, and the winger would like to play again.

The signing of Sarr doesn’t make much sense for Forest.

Even though Sarr is excellent, Forest has also been connected to this right-footed winger this summer. Callum Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga are the Reds’ right-footed possibilities; a lefty would provide some diversity.

Although Sarr has a respectable Premier League track record, it would be unexpected to see Forest sign another right-footed forward. Hudson-Odoi and Elanga both had successful campaigns in 2023–2024 and they intend to improve on them the following time around.

Sarr is eager to get back into the Premier League, and it looks like Palace has the better offer in this specific agreement.

Nonetheless, it seems like Forest is eyeing the right players, and perhaps a few more can be added before the season starts.
