On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers said that they had severed their relationship with offensive tackle John Leglue and
decided to dismiss him from the practice squad. Leglue was initially signed by Pittsburgh after first cutdowns, but the
Steelers have players who can play almost anywhere with Dylan Cook and Doug Nester on the practice squad.
Leglue was with the Steelers for the second time. Before rejoining the Steelers, he had played for the Tennessee
Titans and Atlanta Falcons the previous two seasons. He has made five starts in his career, all while playing with the Steelers.
Leglue, 28, was an undrafted free agent out of Tulane in the 2018 NFL Draft. He has spent most of his career on practice
squads rather than an active roster. The Steelers signed running back Jonathan Ward and wide receiver Jamal Agnew
while releasing Leglue and wide receiver Lance McCutcheon.
