Done Deal! Spurs seal a three year term with ‘next Son Heung-min’. The Sensational 18-year-old  is all set.

Tottenham has signed South Korean attacker Min-Hyeok Yang from Gangwon FC to a contract. With seven goals and three assists in 24 games so far this season in the K League, the 18-year-old has shown promise.

It is understood that after an agreement is fulfilled, medical testing will take place. Yang will be on loan at Gangwon until January 2025, at which point he will relocate to north London.

Yang’s straight running style and finishing skills have many comparing him to fellow countryman and Spurs star Heung-min Son. Tottenham believes Yang has ‘significant potential’ and is a ‘great talent’ for the future.

Yang, an international for South Korea’s Under-17 team, began three games at the Under-17 World Cup in November of last year. Yang is expected to become the third player under 20 to sign with Tottenham this summer, following the £40 million arrival of Archie Gray, 18, from Leeds, and Lucas Bergvall, 19, from Djurgarden.

Regarding those departing, Spurs have granted Joe Rodon a permanent contract to join Leeds, while Eric Dier, Ivan Perisic, Tanguy Ndombele, and Japhet Tanganga have all departed the team on free transfers.
