Sky Sports confirm Celtic open talks to sign Adam Idah. Brendan Rodgers ready to pay “Huge”for the Irish professional!

According to Sky Sports, Celtic have begun talks with Norwich City about permanently signing Adam Idah. The Irishman had a good loan stay in the second half of last season, which culminated in a Cup Final win over Rangers. According to Sky Sports, Brendan Rodgers’ side has made a move to re-sign the player. The 23-year-old scored nine goals and assisted once in 19 appearances, the majority of which came off the bench. The striker scored several key goals as Celtic won the League and Cup double, and the manager made it plain that he was a priority this summer. If the player’s social media accounts are any indication, he is also interested in completing a deal.

The club has yet to make any signings, but Assistant Manager John Kennedy confirmed that work is being done behind the scenes to strengthen ahead of the upcoming season. Hopefully, a deal is reached as quickly as possible, and Celtic can welcome back the huge centre striker before the league season begins in early August.
